I was talking to a friend the other day and we were discussing friends and how to tell if you have a true friend by your side. This really made me start thinking about the kind of people that I have surrounded myself around b/c we never know who really has your back or who says they have your back just b/c it sounds nice at this time. She told me, that she really had to start laying ppl off and was gonna make some changes b/c she wasn't sure if she had friends that wer there to actual be by her side and would help her throught thick and thin and or if they were they just to be there. I think this is really bad. I have learned that true friendship is just about money or the materialistic things that are given to the other person it is about being there for that person at all times. My can honestly say, I have 3 gurls that I can call at the drop of a dime and they will have my back.
